OlaXBT × X-Agent Trading Challenge

500 USDT+ 50,000 X-Points
  1. Create, backtest and validate with Nexus MCP
  2. Build your own Agent / MCP application
  3. X-Agent
Entry requirements

Sponsored by OlaXBT. Build a trading Agent or MCP application using capabilities provided by OlaXBT Nexus MCP.

Use OlaXBT to create, backtest and validate a trading strategy, then build your own Agent or MCP application around it. A strategy, backtest results or a simple API wrapper alone is not a complete entry.

Nexus MCP provides strategy signals, performance metrics, backtesting and market data. Available tools, strategy requirements, eligibility and usage instructions are detailed in the trading challenge guide.

Beyond the awards: MCP tools and ongoing revenue

From project to MCP tool

Winners and other outstanding projects recognized by the judges can receive X-Agent support to package their validated capabilities as MCP tools.

Earn in the agent economy

Eligible tools may be submitted to OKX.AI through X-Agent’s service-provider account for display. Developers receive corresponding call revenue when users or AI agents make paid calls.

X-Agent is on OKX.AI

Explore X-Agent’s live page to see how services are presented and offered through pay-per-call access.

What is OKX.AI?

OKX.AI is a marketplace for agent-native services. Users can discover and hire AI agents or post tasks; service providers can list services and earn revenue.

For standardized MCP and API services, its Agent-to-MCP model supports free calls or fixed-price pay-per-call usage without negotiation. According to the official ASP guide, paid endpoints need x402 support and the OKX Payment SDK is recommended; calls can be billed and settled in real time on X Layer.

Selected Hackathon projects can receive X-Agent assistance to prepare for this model.

This describes an available third-party service, not an OKX or OKX.AI partnership with this event. Listings are subject to platform eligibility and revenue depends on actual paid calls. Neither listing nor earnings are guaranteed.

More ecosystem opportunities

Detailed requirements, additional winner benefits and follow-up support will be described in the official participation guide.

How to join

Submit to X-Agent

  1. Build
  2. Deploy & validate
  3. Submit to X-Agent
Submission & eligibility

Both development paths lead to a Pull Request in the official X-Agent project submission repository.

  • Register and join the official X-Agent community.
  • Choose one track, then build, deploy and test your project.
  • Fork the official X-Agent submission repository and prepare the required materials.
  • Open a Pull Request before the deadline and assist with a short technical validation if requested.

Project submission directory

submissions/mcp-hackathon/<team-or-builder>-<project-slug>/

An external repository link alone is not a complete submission. Follow the instructions in the official X-Agent submission repository.

You do not need to build your own MCP Server before submitting. After technical validation, X-Agent will assess eligible projects and help standardize them as MCP tools.

Pass all technical gates before scoring

Only projects that pass every technical gate enter formal scoring. Detailed requirements will be provided in the official participation guide.

Important: excluded project scope

These restrictions apply to both tracks. On-chain security or audit projects are ineligible, including smart contract audits, vulnerability or exploit detection, wallet or transaction risk scoring, phishing, scam or Rug Pull detection, security monitoring, compliance or security analysis and similar services.
